Purpose of Life

*        He said, "I am the light of the world, he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." He claimed attributes belonging only to God: to be able to forgive people of their sin, free them from habits of sin, give people a more abundant life and give them eternal life in heaven. Unlike other teachers who focused people on their words, God pointed people to himself. He did not say, "follow my words and you will find truth." He  did what people can't do. God performed miracles. He healed people...blind, crippled, deaf, even raised a couple of people from the dead. He had power over objects...created food out of thin air, enough to feed crowds of several thousand people. He performed miracles over nature...walked on top of a lake, commanding a raging storm to stop for some friends. People everywhere followed God, because he constantly met their needs, doing the miraculous. He said if you do not want to believe what I'm telling you, you should at least believe in me based on the miracles you're seeing.16said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.
*        What is the meaning of life? How can purpose, fulfillment, and satisfaction in life be found? How can something of lasting significance be achieved? So many people have never stopped to consider these important questions. They look back years later and wonder why their relationships have fallen apart and why they feel so empty, even though they may have achieved what they set out to accomplish. An athlete who had reached the pinnacle of his sport was once asked what he wished someone would have told him when he first started playing his sport. He replied, “I wish that someone would have told me that when you reach the top, there's nothing there.” Many goals reveal their emptiness only after years have been wasted in their pursuit. one of these pursuits include business success, wealth, good relationships, sex, entertainment, and doing good to others. People have testified that while they achieved their goals of wealth, relationships, and pleasure, there was still a deep void inside, a feeling of emptiness that nothing seemed to fill. had wealth beyond measure, wisdom beyond any man of his time or ours, hundreds of women, palaces and gardens that were the envy of kingdoms, the best food and wine, and every form of entertainment available. He said at one point that anything his heart wanted, he pursued. And yet he summed up “life under the sun”—life lived as though all there is to life is what we can see with our eyes and experience with our senses—is meaningless. Why is there such a void? Are you confused? Can you never seem to find a path or purpose in life? Does it seem like someone has turned out the lights and you cannot find the switch? Do you ever feel like you are locked out of life? Have you tried so many doors, only to find that what is behind them is empty and meaningless? Are you looking for an entrance into a fulfilling life
Do you wonder what happens after this life? Are you tired of living your life for things that only rot or rust? Do you sometimes doubt whether life has any meaning? What is the way? What is the truth? What is the life? The hunger that you feel is a spiritual hunger, The reason you feel hungry, the reason you seem to be lost in darkness, the reason you cannot find meaning in life, is that you are separated from God. Come back to the question, Is there a god controlling things in this universe ? If you accept the phenomenon, then you Why not ask how suns and planets are created? Why not ask how humans can be created? No…people want to understand the big picture…so they question 'who is the Architect of it ALL?' Who is the overall Builder? People ask 'what is God' as if they can understand the answer have to per se also accept the concept of divine interference and divine disposition. I mean you cannot say that god is unfair and irresponsible. But if you go by this theory of karmic burden and commiserate disposition, then the theory of nature acting upon the beings does not hold good. Then you are negating almost everything said in Gita and Upanishads. And if you believe in Brahma and the forces of nature then you cannot sustain the theory of the karmic burden of the previous life, or anything indicating divine dispensation Why not ask how suns and planets are created? There was a magical time at some point in your childhood when you looked at life as magical, special, joyous, and amazing. This life paradigm had nothing to do with achievement or validation from other When we begin to awaken spiritually, we ask "why am I here?", and "for what purpose did God create me?" For some, an inner understanding of divine soul purpose emerges relatively early in the spiritual journey.

Or we think about rest of world, see what is there plight are they having sufficient food, clothing, medical aid.
If we are human and belief in God it is our duty to help them in what way they need. A life of purpose—a purpose driven life—that satisfying and fulfilling way to live that we all seek eludes many of us. Lacking a life mission and direction, we chase material goods, money, and power, yet yearn for the satisfaction and fulfillment of living a life of meaning, a life of internal reward and satisfaction.
We ask, “Who am I?”, “Why am I here?”, and “What is my life all about?” We look for answers that give us direction and knowledge that provides a life plan. Instead of just hoping for the best, write your own eulogy, craft your own legacy, and influence the honest, innermost thoughts of those you leave behind. Then live your life in such a way that
  • realize what you value in life
  • figure out what is your passion
  • get an idea what your purpose in life could be .
